The program displays graphically the emission spectra of elementsfrom 1 to 99, in the visible, infrared, and ultraviolet ranges. The program is intended mainly for learning purposes for high-schooland college students, as well as a handy help for simple emission spectra analysis for physics and astronomy research staff andstudents. For that reason the program gets the freeware status, i.e. it may bedistributed freely without any limitations.

This application generates synthetic spectra from the tabled data of line wavelengths and relative intensities listed in the Chemical and Rubber Co's Handbook of Chemistry and Physics. (Of which a copy..in my case the 62nd Edition, is best kept on hand and used in conjunction with Mikojaj's package.)
As an electric lamp collector, these synthetic spectra are quite useful in assisting the identification of elements in obstructed cathode glow discharge lamps and glowbottle starter bulbs as well as high intensity discharge lamps and particularly metal halide lamps.
I was disappointed when I learned that Mikolaj had moved on from Physics to humanities....a great loss to S.T.E.M.
